Social Services Director Highland Rehabilitation & Health care Center
is seeking a Social Services Director to lead the Social Services department in compliance with NASW Code of Ethics and applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations and policies. The role focuses on fostering a climate that supports residents’ individuality, independence, dignity, and overall well-being, and on identifying psychosocial, mental, and emotional needs and facilitating access to services. What Will You Do in This Role?
As a Social Services Director, you will be responsible for planning, developing, organizing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of the Social Services department in accordance with NASW Code of Ethics and applicable guidelines and regulations, company policies, procedures, and governing agencies. You will foster a climate and policies that enable residents to maximize their individuality, independence, and dignity, and provide for residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being and quality of life. You will identify psychosocial, mental, and emotional needs and provide or aid in access to services to meet those needs. Qualifications
A passion for working with seniors Flexible, energetic personality Certified, licensed, or registered in the state of practice Bachelor’s degree in social work or a human services field required Minimum of one year of supervisory social work experience in a health care setting with geriatric population required Minimum of two years of prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required Professional image in appearance and behavior Excellent written and oral communication skills Why Tutera is the Employer of Choice
