Blue Tech has decades of experience serving as a prime contractor, conducting procurements, managing personnel, and leading teams to meet and exceed our customers' expectations. Blue Tech, as a woman-owned and HUBZone small business, holds several IT Prime contracts, including NASA SEWP, GSA MAS, CIO-CS, ADMC-3, ITES-4H, and 2GIT, among others, and has access to other IT contract vehicles used by US DoD agencies. Blue Tech is seeking an experienced Account Executive to leverage and grow existing relationships with the U.S. Army and/or the Department of Defense. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to identify, qualify, and close government IT opportunities. They will be able to work independently and adapt to success in a fast-paced, changing environment. A results-oriented competitor who can work both individually and as a team towards a win/win common goal. The ideal candidate must be able to leverage Blue Tech’s strong partner network and assist in forming new partner relationships to grow Blue Tech’s go-to-market strategy with the US Army and/or Department of Defense. Summary of Essential Job Functions

Promotes and sells products, services, and/or related accessories through suggestive sales techniques to meet and surpass profitability goals. Understand competitive landscape and develop strategic organizational responses with internal leadership and OEM, distribution, and vendor partners. Develops opportunities through multiple techniques, not limited to cold calling, conducting in-person meetings, identifying strategic partnerships, and responding to inbound RFQs. Identifies and grows OEM and strategic industry partnerships to grow revenue and profit in assigned accounts. Understands and supports sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all customers. Develops partnerships with Sales Directors and optimizes the joint selling opportunities within accounts. Leads a team by setting performance expectations, developing skills and knowledge within the team, and providing leadership and direction for achieving account goals/objectives. Researches government sites to have a working knowledge of customers' budget, IT goals, major programs, and upcoming opportunities. Attends trade shows to promote Blue Tech. Travels to generate more sales and familiarize oneself with the client. Entertains visiting clients and vendors. Ensures a presentable and orderly company image at all times through effective sales displays. Strategic Planning & Presentation

Manage pipeline of opportunities and forecast accurately through weekly submission to the sales vertical manager Develop and present a Quarterly Business Review to Sales and Executive management with a focus on past performance, expectations for the current quarter, and the pipeline of future opportunities Maintains up to date list of registrations and approval rates Actively participates in vendor and customer calls Proactively develop partnerships with OEM and Vendor partners to optimize the joint selling opportunities within the account base Meet or exceed the annual quota set by sales and executive management Actively engage in GovWin and other Blue Tech and industry tools Provide an in-depth customer procurement roadmap Proactively participates in vendor trainings and achieves vendor and industry-relevant certifications Qualifications
