Balboa is seeking a Sales Specialist to support the growth of Pendo Predict, Pendo’s advanced predictive analytics and engagement intelligence offering. This role partners closely with Pendo Account Executives and Solution Engineers to drive complex sales opportunities by bringing deep product expertise, strategic market insight, and solution-oriented selling to the field. As a Pendo Predict Sales Specialist, you will not own the full sales cycle. Instead, you will co-sell alongside core sellers. Your job is to accelerate evaluations and help map how customers will incorporate Pendo Predict into their technology environments. Responsibilities

Partner with Account Executives, Solution Engineers, and sales leadership to support deals involving Pendo Predict. Act as a subject matter expert embedded in active opportunities, influencing outcomes without direct ownership of accounts. Align with Sales Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to ensure cohesive deal execution. Product Expertise

Maintain expertise in Pendo Predict product capabilities and use cases. Articulate product value and competitive positioning to technical and business stakeholders. Stay current on market trends, competitive solutions, and evolving customer needs in SaaS and digital product analytics. Solution Design

Lead discovery sessions to uncover complex customer challenges, data maturity levels, and business objectives. Design solutions that integrate Pendo Predict within broader customer technology ecosystems. Translate customer needs into compelling solution narratives and use cases. Enable Account Executives through training, deal coaching, and continuous knowledge sharing. Contribute to sales assets such as playbooks, demo flows, ROI models, and objection-handling frameworks. Serve as a go-to expert for Pendo Predict within the broader sales organization. Influence deals with qualification and messaging. Support and lead demos, workshops, and proof-of-value engagements. Contribute to business cases that align Pendo Predict outcomes with customer business priorities. Act as a trusted advisor to the Pendo account team and customers during evaluations, pilots, and early implementation discussions. Guide customers through complex technical and strategic considerations. Partner with post-sales teams to ensure smooth handoffs and long-term customer success. Strong technical aptitude with a deep understanding of SaaS, AI, analytics, and data-driven products. Strong collaborator, communicator, and presenter. Ability to influence outcomes without direct authority. Strong problem-solving and discovery skills. Hunter mentality with a customer-first, consultative approach. The Predict Sales Specialist specializes in Pendo Predict, while Account Executives manage full account relationships. Credit: Shares quota or deal credit with the primary seller rather than owning the entire number.
