As the Sales Enablement Analyst, you will play a pivotal role within the Akima Corporate Development team, driving initiatives to enhance our business-winning capabilities and foster accelerated, profitable growth. You will lead the deployment and management of solutions aimed at improving the effectiveness of our sales activities. Applying user-centered design principles with a focus on user interface and user experience, you will enhance the employee experience with our sales infrastructure and elevate data quality. Your collaboration with Corporate Development leadership and other key functions will ensure alignment with business objectives and enhance decision-making processes. This Hybrid position requires that you live within commuting distance from Herndon, VA.

Responsibilities

Lead Sales Reporting and Analytics Provide sales performance metrics to Akima leadership for key reviews, including monthly corporate pipeline reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, Board Meetings, and other forums. Assess internal stakeholder reporting needs and develop appropriate reports and dashboards leveraging Power BI or similar applications. Collaborate with Corporate Development and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) leadership on sales performance analysis and business planning. Derive insights into pipeline trends and provide leadership with strategic perspectives. Maintain data continuity for all reporting through regular collaboration with stakeholders. Manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Support the day-to-day operation of Akima’s CRM platform. Assist with maintaining data accuracy, completeness, and consistency within CRM systems. Support system enhancements, configuration updates, and user requests under the guidance of senior staff. Assist with CRM integrations across other enterprise systems (e.g., finance, contracts, marketing). Support CRM data migration efforts, including data mapping, cleansing, validation, and testing. Investigate CRM solutions, develop business cases, and support platform transitions and data migration. Drive Knowledge Management Support the design, development, and implementation of an enterprise Knowledge Management solution for contract descriptions, proposal content, and other relevant information. Guide initial data population and manage annual information refreshes. Pilot Emerging Technologies Investigate and pilot emerging enablement technologies, such as generative AI. Organizational Change Management Drive platform adoption and data quality through user engagement and training. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related technical field. Strong interest in enterprise systems, CRM platforms, and data analytics. Foundational understanding of databases, data structures, and system integration concepts. Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. This Hybrid position requires that you live within commuting distance from Herndon, VA. Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to Salesforce or similar CRM platforms (coursework, internship, certification, or projects). Experience with reporting or visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Basic knowledge of SQL, APIs, or data integration concepts. Familiarity with SharePoint or cloud-based collaboration tools.
