What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Oversee payroll and accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Strengthen financial controls and processes to improve efficiency and data integrity
Lead cross-functional operational accounting projects and manage stakeholder relationships
Manage retirement plan audits and ensure compliance with ERISA and related regulations
Set the vision for operational accounting and support team development through coaching and feedback
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Minimum of seven years of accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit setting, including at least five years of management experience
Required experience in retirement plan administration and payroll for a multi-state organization
Knowledge of GAAP and proficiency with accounting software and Office365
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information
