Responsibilities
Identify and locate delinquent customer accounts using various methods (e.g., skip-tracing, phone contact, and written correspondence) and arrange payment solutions.
Share relevant information with the sales/marketing department and other stakeholders.
Ensure the effective execution of the organization's collection strategies, focusing on delivering high-quality service and maximizing profitability through efficient collection and information validation.
Propose solutions for managing delinquent accounts as per department procedures.
Gather preliminary information for the Credit Department to facilitate decisions on lease transfers, modifications, or extensions for overdue accounts.
Provide support in addressing customer service issues related to account collection.
Alert management to potential risks within the collection process.
Maintain communication with staff to resolve disputes concerning Personal Property Tax and other fees.
Assist the accounting department in identifying cash application details as required.
Prepare monthly reports on delinquency and account status.
Undertake other collection-related tasks as instructed by the Collections Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
3 years of prior collections experience
Prior supervisory experience
High school diploma
Preferred Qualifications
Prior auto finance, working capital, or financial services industry experience
Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Tech-savvy and able to pick up new systems quickly
Salary Range $55,000 - $60,000*
