JOB DESCRIPTION

Supports the Sales Strategy & Operations team by providing analytical, system and process expertise to enhance decision-making and drive commercial efficiency. This role serves as a bridge between Sales and cross-functional departments including IT, Finance, Operations and Procurement to ensure systems and processes align with business needs. This role will leverage data to inform strategy, identify process improvements and contribute to the execution of key business initiatives. Responsibilities

Sales Performance Analysis - Ensures strong communication and execution from Sales with cross-functional departments to translate business requirements into actionable system and process improvements. Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) on sales-related systems including Salesforce and Oracle, ensuring alignment with sales processes and organizational goals. Develops and maintains dashboards, reports and data visualizations that support business reviews and strategic decision-making. Supports change management efforts by training users and developing documentation for new processes or technologies. Results will be improved data accuracy and visibility within Salesforce and Oracle systems. Data Analytics and Reporting - Analyzes sales trends, customer behavior and market data to identify opportunities for efficiency and revenue growth. Collaborates with support departments to streamline workflows and enhances data integrity across platforms. Leads requirements gathering sessions, documents user stories and supports User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new tools and enhancements. Reduces redundancy of data and reporting across the Sales organization. Contributes to the development of standardized metrics and performance indicators across the commercial organization. Results will be increased efficiency in sales reporting and forecasting processes. Sales Planning and Forecasting - Assists in the development of sales forecasts, budgets and plans in collaboration with Sales leadership and Finance teams. Develops forecasting models and methodologies to accurately predict sales performance across various product lines and geographic regions. Results will be enhanced collaboration between Sales and cross-functional teams. Strategy Development - Supports the development of sales strategies and initiatives aligned with company objectives and market dynamics. Collaborates with Sales leadership to identify strategic priorities, set sales targets and allocate resources effectively. Results will be timely and effective delivery of system enhancements aligned with business priorities. Market (External) Data - Works with marketing and strategy teams to ingest meaningful outside data and integrates it with our systems and reporting. Results will provide insights to Sales allowing them to monitor industry developments and anticipate market shifts. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field required. 6 - 8 years' hands on professional experience as a Business Analyst, Business Intelligence or related roles within the food or agricultural industry, preferably in poultry or meat production. Experience with Salesforce CRM and Oracle (ERP or Analytics modules) strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience strongly preferred analyzing business processes, designing system solutions and implementing process improvements in a complex organization. Understanding of the Poultry Sales Cycle, proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques such as Excel, SQL, Tableau or similar software. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively, without direct authority, with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
