Overview
The company is an industry leading, fashion forward, multi category company looking for an ambitious, organized product Designer to join our growing team. Categories include but are not limited to sleepwear, loungewear, accessories, and infant/children's clothing. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, detailed oriented, and have the ability to clearly communicate with team members.
Responsibilities
Research of European market and competitive brands
Create appealing and cohesive cads and plan-o-grams
Create original prints and repeat patterns
Create technical drawings with the ability to detail garment construction
Create and update sketches, tech packs, and BOMs
Qualifications
5 years design experience in an Apparel or Accessory firm
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
High attention to detail, sense of design and color
Strong knowledge of fabric and garment construction
Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to proactively trouble shoot and problem solve
Must submit a design portfolio for consideration.
