Role Description This is a full-time on-site role based in Momence, IL, for a Coordinator of Special Events & Public Relations.
The Coordinator of Special Events & Public Relations plays a key role in advancing the organization’s mission by planning and executing fundraising events and other special events, managing public relations efforts including social media and direct mail, and event communication coordination including emails and text messaging utilizing our technology platform. This position is responsible for creating positive community engagement, strengthening donor and stakeholder relationships, and ensuring consistent, professional communication across all platforms.
Qualifications
Experience in Event/Fundraising coordination, Communications or Public Relations
Strong Communication Skills
Must have strong organizational skills
Proficiency in relationship-building and community engagement
Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with Data management platforms/CRM tools
Knowledge of the non-profit sector or experience in service-based organizations is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field preferred
