Interior Designer for NE Houston design firm- Hybrid position

We are searching for an energetic and creative designer to join our fun and growing design team in NE Houston. The candidate will have 3+ years of experience as a designer, reside in Houston and able to commute to Kingwood at least 3 days per week. This is a full time position requiring work hours M-F from 8am-5pm. Must have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on conversations with a client. Candidate should be consistent with their work from day to day, and take initiative in all aspects of the job. The candidate should be confident communicating regularly with the client in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback. The candidate should maintain familiarity with the interior design landscape and trends in order to provide the best ideas for clients. Candidate needs to see the overall big picture of a project and be able to specify all finishes, fixtures and architectural aspects of the project, not just individual spaces. Must be able to work in a team environment and atmosphere. Responsibilities

Create attractive designs and layouts for various projects Meet with client in order to understand the client's objectives, desires, design style and budget Communicate effectively with client, vendors and team in order to address client's needs Prepare presentations for clients Maintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevant Qualifications
