Job Details
Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Store Address: 870 Hot Wells Blvd, San Antonio, TX 78223
Hours: Full-time, average 39–40 hours per week; availability to work Saturdays; Wednesdays and Sundays off
Essential Duties
Work independently to manage daily property operations.
Provide exceptional service to customers including answering inquiries, assisting with storage needs, and processing rental agreements.
Maximize sales objectives through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies.
Process payments, issue receipts, and manage delinquent accounts including collection efforts.
Conduct cash drawer audits and execute bank deposits as per company policies.
Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with a focus on safety and maximizing units available for rent.
Job Qualifications
Valid driver’s license.
Cash handling experience preferred.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to multitask.
Experience in sales.
Physical Requirements
Conduct property walks during shifts.
Approximately 50% of time in outdoor environments, including walking, climbing stairs, and opening large doors.
Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the property, including regular inspections and maintenance tasks (e.g., sweeping, mopping, changing light bulbs).
Ability to transport or move items weighing up to 35 pounds.
May be required to run errands for the facility and travel to other store locations.
Average Day Your day will be dynamic and diverse. You will prepare for opening, ensure everything is clean and in working order, perform a cash drawer count, and conduct a property walk-through. You will assist customers with storage solutions, handle rental agreements, process payments, and address concerns. You will perform regular property inspections, check maintenance needs, and ensure safety and security measures are in place. You may engage in virtual meetings, collaborative projects, and continued training. You will end with closing procedures and ensure the property is secure. The schedule supports a five-day work week (no Sundays) with a 6:00 PM finish.
