We are seeking a growth-centric, excellence-focused

Assistant Editor

to join our team.

Candidate must be able to work onsite at our Texas Headquarters (Arlington, TX 76006).

Job Purpose The Editor plays a critical role on the Post-Production Team. The Editor will work on original movie notes, cut downs, promotions, technical evaluation of movies/series and versioning. This role must have previous editorial experience. A solid knowledge of Adobe Suite products, Resolve and Avid are required. Must be extremely organized and able to work without daily supervision. The Editor will work with internal and external producers as they edit various products. This person must have strong self-direction and motivation.

Duties and Responsibilities

Edit long-form and short-form programming for broadcast, streaming, and digital platforms

Shape stories that reflect faith, family, heritage, and positive values

Maintain strong narrative structure, pacing, and emotional clarity

Create versions for promos, marketing, affiliates, and internal use

Edit using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Avid Media Composer, and After Effects

Incorporate producer and network notes accurately and efficiently

Prepare final exports that meet network technical specifications

Collaborate with audio, color, graphics, and finishing teams

Ensure content meets broadcast standards, music licensing, and legal requirements

Maintain organized project files and archives

Perform other duties as assigned

Technical Skills Required

AI creative tools including ChatGPT, Gemini, Flow, and Midjourney

Ability to use AI tools to support creative concepts, temp visuals, and editorial exploration

Audio cleanup, music editing, and dialogue pacing

Shared storage and media asset management systems

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

3+ years of professional editing experience.

General knowledge of a full-service production facility including post-production, graphics, and audio.

Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Ability to work under pressure while maintaining editorial quality and composure.

Working Conditions This position is in an office environment and will require minimal travel.
