Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and competitive sales quotes for customer acceptance
Maintain and grow existing customer accounts through consistent follow-up and service
Coordinate order fulfillment and delivery with operations and logistics teams
Provide professional and timely customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues
Support the Sales Manager in achieving branch sales goals and profitability targets
Develop a strong understanding of our STELPlan business system and steel service center operations
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in the metals industry or industrial sales preferred
Strong verbal communication, listening, and negotiation skills
Proven ability to build relationships and work effectively with diverse personalities
Proficient computer skills; familiarity with MS Office and online business systems
10-key by touch and strong general math skills required
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet daily deadlines
Work Environment This is a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and frequent customer interaction. The role requires professionalism, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
