We serve senior stakeholders across stewardship teams, partners at law firms, investment banking M&A advisory teams, corporate advisors, executive compensation specialists, and corporate governance leaders who rely on high-quality intelligence to navigate complex shareholder, governance, and market dynamics. Our solutions support critical workflows including activism defense, shareholder engagement, corporate governance benchmarking, proxy voting analysis, reporting, executive compensation evaluation, and emerging stewardship data capabilities. Insights are delivered through subscription platforms, data feeds, and advanced analytics workflows. This role is positioned at the center of DMI’s next phase of commercial growth, accelerating adoption of our evolving intelligence platform and deepening relationships with current clients and market segments. Position Overview: The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth for both new and existing accounts across the Diligent Market Intelligence product portfolio. Success is measured through new logo acquisition, expansion revenue, multi-product adoption, and accurate pipeline forecasting. This individual contributor role manages the full sales cycle from prospecting through deal close, building strong executive relationships and aligning DMI solutions to customer business priorities. The role requires a commercially astute professional who understands enterprise SaaS and data sales dynamics within governance, financial services, or adjacent intelligence markets. Key Responsibilities

Drive new business acquisition and expansion (upsell/cross-sell) revenue across assigned territory Identify and execute upsell/cross-sell opportunities across SaaS subscriptions, data feeds, and analytics solutions Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, discovery, demos, negotiation, and close Build and maintain strong relationships with senior and executive-level stakeholders Execute value-based selling tied to governance risk, shareholder engagement, and market intelligence workflows Effectively utilize sales tools to prospect, qualify opportunities, and increase win rates Collaborate with Client Success, Marketing, Product, and Solutions teams to deliver integrated customer experiences Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM hygiene in Salesforce Provide structured customer and market feedback to product and commercial leadership Demonstrate strong knowledge of customers’ business strategy, competitive landscape, and market trends Required Experience/Skills

5-7+ years proven track record of success in new logo and expansion sales achieving or surpassing revenue targets within complex sales environments Proven ability to sell complex subscription platforms and/or data solutions to senior stakeholders Strong consultative selling, discovery, negotiation skills and executive presence Experience selling subscription platforms, data solutions, or analytics products Ability to translate complex data solutions into clear commercial value propositions Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building skills Strong forecasting discipline and Salesforce experience Self-motivated, commercially driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced growth environment U.S pay range $114,000 - $142,800 USD What Diligent Offers You
