EMEA Sales Leadership Role

Umbilical Search is supporting a market-leading manufacturer of engineered solutions, supplying a range of technical market sectors.

Due to continued growth and a recent promotion, we are seeking a Sales Manager to lead and grow a high-performing EMEA sales organisation. This is a senior leadership role that combines people management, strategy execution, and hands-on sales, with full regional profit and loss responsibility.

The role offers significant autonomy, visibility, and a clear pathway to Senior Sales Manager/Director level progression within a growing organisation focused on sustainable growth and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities Full accountability for an EMEA sales budget of approximately €23.8 million Leadership responsibility for a regional sales team Lead, coach and develop a regional sales team to exceed revenue targets Recruit, develop and manage talent, including performance and succession planning Balance people leadership, sales management, and direct customer engagement Ownership of strategic accounts and major growth initiatives Set, track and deliver KPIs through structured performance management Drive pipeline growth, order intake, forecasting accuracy and sales execution Drive new business development alongside the expansion of existing customers Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, design wins, prototypes, negotiations and contracts Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with global objectives Analyse market trends, customer buying behaviour and competitive positioning

Requirements Experienced in B2B sales, including proven leadership of sales teams Strong background in bespoke engineered solution sales Commercially astute with strong negotiation, forecasting and financial skills Degree in Business, Engineering or a related technical discipline Willingness to travel extensively within the territory Valid driving licence
