Job Description
Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for basic to advanced automobile accidents. Determines coverage, liability, damages and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims within limit of authority. We are expanding our Northeast team and seeking an Auto Adjuster with material damage auto claims experience. This team handles 1st and 3rd party MD auto claims across the Northeastern states, ranging in complexity. A strong understanding of policy language and coverage is essential for success in this role. Responsibilities
For claims involving fraud or subrogation, partners with assigned reps from those areas to achieve best outcome
Recognizes and identifies body parts of a vehicle and understanding of other potential property damage
Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills
Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle
Applies intermediate understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department
Handles investigation regarding all aspects of auto claims (coverage, damages, subrogation) with the exercise of discretion and independence within increased level of authority
Experience
2 or more years of experience (Preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities This job does not have supervisory duties.

Compensation Base compensation offered for this role is:
Auto Adjuster Cons I: $50,000 - $74,120
Auto Adjuster Cons II: $56,000 - $82,500
Auto Adjuster Sr Cons I: $68,500 - 104,100
And is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) if applicable for the role.
