Field Sales Representative
to expand presence in the downstream fuel distribution and energy sales industry. This role is responsible for managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and building trusted relationships with distributors, retailers, and commercial customers. The ideal candidate has an interest in market pricing and logistics, with experience or eagerness to learn about energy sales, downstream fuel distribution, or a related sales environment. Success in this role requires frequent customer interaction, a relationship-focused approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow assigned accounts to maximize sales volume, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Identify and pursue new business opportunities across commercial, retail, agricultural, and industrial fuel markets. Develop tailored solutions based on customer fuel needs, delivery schedules, and storage capacity. Build long-term relationships by providing outstanding service, timely communication, and reliable follow-up. Travel regularly (up to 75%) to visit customers, evaluate business operations, and present product and pricing solutions in the Southeast. Collaborate with supply and logistics teams to coordinate deliveries, ensure fuel availability, and resolve service issues. Monitor regional market trends, competitor pricing, and supply chain developments to inform sales strategy. Maintain accurate customer records and pipeline data in CRM. Prepare and submit progress reports, weekly plans, and territory analyses. Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings. Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales targets. Qualifications
1-2 years of sales experience preferred, ideally in B2B settings. We welcome motivated candidates eager to build a career in fuel distribution and energy sales. Ability to learn fuel pricing structures, contracts, transportation logistics, and industry regulations. Comfort with managing accounts and navigating long-term sales cycles, or willingness to develop these skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. High level of initiative, self-motivation, and time management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general business software tools. Post-secondary education or relevant experience preferred.
