Overview
Upstream Rehabilitation
is looking for a Work Comp Account Manager to join our team. This role focuses on workers' compensation account management, relationship-building with physicians, case managers, and referral sources, and expanding our presence in the Mississippi and Alabama markets.
Responsibilities
Lead operations for the respective territory.
Maintain a target call activity of 40 calls per week, defined as physical, virtual, or scheduled phone meetings with potential referral sources.
Participate in monthly Workers’ Compensation Committee meetings and Clinic Director and/or Regional meetings as requested.
Identify potential trade show opportunities and schedule appropriate booth personnel; provide expenditure to return on investment analysis for trade shows.
Collaborate with the marketing team and Vice President of Operations to develop marketing collateral for territory needs, with guidance and approval.
Participate in community events to expand knowledge of clinics and services.
Attend local and corporate meetings as needed.
Respond to email and phone messages within 24-48 hours.
Facilitate networking between referral sources, employers, and field operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Critical Skills/Experience
1-3 years of sales and marketing experience to physicians, medical offices, employers, or related fields.
1-3 years of experience in the Workers’ Compensation field.
Possess a valid driver’s license.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
Excellent spelling, grammar and written communication skills.
Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface successfully with various individuals inside and outside of the company.
Ability to work independently and productively, with remote supervision; collaborative team orientation.

Conditions of the Position
Travel up to 70% of the time throughout the assigned region.
