About The Role We are seeking a
hunter‑minded Account Executive
to expand our presence within the layers or broiler markets. This is a high‑impact role focused on driving new business in an
untapped and rapidly growing region .
You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to close—while managing strong, face‑to‑face relationships with producers, integrators, and industry partners.
What You’ll Do
Drive new logo acquisition across the layers or broiler market segment
Build strong customer relationships through on‑site visits and industry events
Manage a 4–6 month sales cycle and an average $15–20K MMR deal size
Deliver $1M+ AAR annually through disciplined pipeline management
Represent MTech at major industry events, such as Midwest Poultry Show and IPPE
Partner closely with internal teams to position our ERP and AI‑powered solutions
What We’re Looking For (Must‑Haves)
3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in agriculture or poultry
Strong hunter mentality — confident generating new business from scratch
Industry knowledge in broilers (non‑negotiable)
Ability to independently manage frequent travel and in‑person selling
Strong communication and objection‑handling skills
Ability to “read the room” and build trust quickly with producers
Nice to Have
Familiarity with ERP platforms
Experience selling into major poultry organizations
Prior success in long sales‑cycle environments
