
An established financial services organization is seeking a Marketing Data Analyst with 1–3 years of relevant experience to contribute to marketing and sales optimization efforts. The position focuses on generating actionable insights from large datasets to refine customer acquisition and retention strategies, enhance lifecycle engagement, and measure media performance.
Mandatory Requirements
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
1–3 years of experience in data analysis, revenue analysis, or marketing analytics.
Proficient in SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY) for querying and validating large datasets.
Experience with Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookup functions, charts, advanced formulas).
Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI for dashboard development.
Key Responsibilities Marketing Analytics
Analyze cross-channel marketing performance (e.g., direct mail, digital, social, email).
Identify audience segments and develop strategies for enhanced targeting and lifecycle engagement.
Data Management & Reporting
Write and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction and validation.
Develop and maintain reporting tools to track key marketing performance indicators and ROI.
Testing & Measurement
Design and analyze A/B tests, cohort studies, and lift analyses to assess marketing effectiveness.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with teams to define KPIs, shape analytical strategies, and deliver impactful insights.
Data Governance
Ensure data consistency across CRM, marketing, and analytics platforms.
Maintain documentation of data logic, definitions, and assumptions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or Computer Science.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Python, R, or similar statistical programming languages.
Knowledge of advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, TradeDesk).
Exposure to marketing tech/tools such as Salesforce, LiveRamp, or Google Analytics.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
Understanding of media mix or multi-touch attribution models.
