Position Summary The Leasing Agent is responsible for owning the full leasing journey from first inquiry through signed lease. This is a sales-driven role focused on relationship building, urgency, follow-up, and conversion. The Leasing Agent communicates with prospects, coordinates tours, conducts virtual leasing, reviews applications, and prepares accurate lease documents. Strong performers are rewarded, and success is driven by speed, accuracy, and results. This role offers flexibility and autonomy while maintaining high accountability standards.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Lead Ownership: Manage all prospect and applicant communication from initial inquiry through signed lease; respond quickly and professionally via phone, text, and email; maintain follow-up and sales momentum; present and sell available units and community value
Tour Coordination & Virtual Leasing: Schedule in-person tours with field team members when needed; conduct virtual tours and provide digital leasing materials; follow up after tours to convert prospects to signed leases
Application Review & Decisioning: Review applications and supporting documentation; approve or deny applicants using screening criteria and Fair Housing guidelines; communicate decisions and next steps clearly; maintain accurate approval and denial records
Lease Preparation & Accuracy: Prepare and send lease documents with high accuracy; verify pricing, concessions, fees, and add-ons; drive timely lease signatures and completion; identify and correct errors proactively
Revenue Optimization: Present and sell additional income opportunities when appropriate; ensure add-ons are properly disclosed and documented; maximize revenue per lease while maintaining compliance
Customer Experience: Deliver a professional and consistent leasing experience; represent the company brand positively in all interactions; escalate complex issues when necessary while maintaining ownership
Work Schedule & Availability
Required in-office one day per week for training and collaboration
Flexible work location outside required in-office day
Office space available weekdays between 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Must be available for leasing calls Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Calls handled through a company-approved calling application on a personal cellphone
