Overview
Impact Staffing International (ISI) is partnering with our client to hire a
Manager – Sales Control & Credit
to join their Finance organization. This full-time, salaried role plays a critical part in supporting executive decision-making through accurate sales reporting, forecasting, credit management, and financial analysis. This position works closely with senior leadership across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and corporate functions to drive performance visibility, compliance, and continuous improvement across the global sales organization.
Responsibilities
Design, maintain, and deliver timely and accurate management reporting related to the sales business cycle.
Lead and coordinate the sales planning and control cycle, including forecasting and budgeting processes.
Analyze sales and financial data to provide actionable insights, recommendations, and improvement proposals to leadership.
Monitor performance and prepare monthly variance analyses comparing actuals vs. budget, forecast, and prior year by product and customer.
Proactively manage Accounts Receivable (A/R) and customer credit in alignment with company policies.
Advise and support EVP Global Sales & Marketing on pricing, transfer pricing, and third-party sales.
Prepare and maintain global and reselling price lists, ensuring compliance with transfer pricing policies.
Implement and enforce credit policies, including managing customer credit limits and sales order releases.
Support business improvement initiatives related to sales processes and controls.
Ensure compliance with Corporate Compliance policies, including Third Party Risk Management, Anti-Money Laundering, and Anti-Corruption.
Own A/R and sales contracting policies and communicate effectively with corporate, regional, and business unit stakeholders.
Partner with Master Data Management and BI teams to ensure data accuracy across JDE, HSP, Hyperion, and Longview systems.
Prepare monthly and quarterly SOX controls related to sales.
Prepare and facilitate Sales Business Review meetings.
Adhere to corporate policies, internal controls, US GAAP, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX 404) requirements.
Lead and coach a small team (minimum of three), monitoring workload, performance, and development.
Required Skills and Background
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
3–5 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, or sales finance.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into business insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a global organization.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience coaching or leading team members.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree or CPA strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge and application of US GAAP.
Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm and/or a multinational organization.
Hands-on experience with JD Edwards, Hyperion Financial Planning (HFP), Hyperion Sales Planning (HSP), Longview, CRM systems, Excel, and PowerPoint.
