General Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Human Resources Specialist to join our esteemed law practice. The successful candidate will support day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, employee engagement, benefits, compliance, and policy enforcement. This role serves as a critical point of contact for employees and ensures smooth HR administration. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing them to cultivate strong working relationships across various levels of the firm. Additionally, they will help drive innovative HR initiatives designed to foster a productive work environment and drive continuous improvement in HR practices. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist in the recruitment of new employees, including the screening of candidates and coordinating interviews. Assist with daily benefits administration, including enrollment support, updates, and general employee inquiries. Help organize and facilitate employee training sessions and wellness programs. Assist with the distribution, organization, and maintenance of HR policies and documentation. Prepare HR reports and metrics and support special HR projects and events as needed. Respond to employee questions and requests regarding HR policies, benefits, and general HR support. Specific skills needed

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred A minimum of 3 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment. Knowledge and understanding of applicable federal and State labor laws Good organizational skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize Willingness to lead through example High level of integrity, ethics, honesty and fairness Strong service orientation and experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Skilled in analyzing problems, resolving issues, written and oral communication, conflict resolution, persuasive speaking and group presentations. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Hours

This is a full-time position. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. The Human Resources Specialist is expected to work the hours necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position. Role is eligible for one day remote and four days in-office. Physical and Other Requirements

The work is primarily of an intellectual nature but requires a variety of physical capabilities. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and rarely must lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. This position requires the ability to operate a keyboard at efficient speed. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk or hear. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Non-Discrimination
