Charlotte, NC | Leverage Lending Group - Hybrid Work Model | 2 Days in Office | Must be local to Charlotte. Leverage Lending Group is challenging the status quo of the mortgage industry—and we’re looking for an experienced Loan Officer Assistant/Partner who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance mortgage broker environment and knows how to keep multiple loan files (and loan officers) moving forward. We need to be able to plug you in IMMEDIATELY and run with the ball! Founded in 2007, Leverage Lending Group has a long track record of stability, growth, and success. This position supports a team of Loan Officers and works closely with multiple wholesale mortgage lenders. You will be a critical part of the loan process from file intake, pre-approval, income calculations, and problem-solving with a strong focus on accuracy, communication, and problem-solving. If you’re confident in calculating variable income and self-employed income, understand lender nuances, and can juggle multiple files without dropping the ball—this role is for you.

Responsibilities
Support multiple Loan Officers with active loan pipelines
Perform full loan file intake and review for completeness and accuracy
Calculate and analyze:
Variable income Self-employed income (Schedule C, K-1s, 1065s, 1120s, 1120-S)
Work efficiently with 40+ wholesale lender portals, each with different guidelines and processes
Communicate with borrowers, employers, CPAs, and third parties to obtain required documentation
Submit, monitor, and manage files through underwriting and conditions
Maintain clean, organized, and compliant loan files
Keep communication proactive and clear between borrowers, loan officers, processors, and agents
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
Prior experience as a Loan Processor, or similar mortgage support role
Strong understanding of: Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, and DSCR loan products
Proven ability to calculate complex income scenarios
Comfortable working with multiple lenders and constantly changing guidelines
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
Confident and professional on the phone and in writing
A quick learner who thrives in a high-volume, fast-moving environment
Compensation $55,000 - $85,000 yearly
