Key Responsibilities
Provide an industry leading client service experience in person and on the phone through development and expansion of new and existing client relationships.
Provide financial solutions that meet client needs based on consultative conversations and referrals to other business partners for additional growth opportunities.
Cross-train to perform required teller duties as needed.
Exercise advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution, and advanced sales functions regarding deposit, credit, convenience, and other product and service lines.
Contribute to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets by offering products/services with a focus on developing, expanding, and retaining relationships.
Support team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring more complex client needs to internal specialists.
Participate in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
Advance knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge through meetings, training, and web-based learning.
Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
Adhere to internal controls, procedures, and risk management policies; stay informed of policy changes to ensure compliance.
Ensure a consistent client service experience by engaging clients with courteous conversation during transactions and helping navigate the branch as needed.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent education
2 years of client sales and service experience
Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
SAFE compliance within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background checks and ongoing regulatory requirements
Ability to multi-task under time constraints
Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs
Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel/overnights
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or higher
Ability to handle multiple priorities under time constraints
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional demeanor with high level of service quality
Experience selling various deposit, credit, and retirement products to consumer and small business clients
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals
General understanding of bank operations policies and procedures
