
Overview
The Investor Reporting Specialist will play a key role in preparing and reconciling performance reporting, quantitative risk analytics, due diligence materials, and other client service deliverables for Voleons institutional investors. This role combines analytical rigor, project management, and business acumen to deliver high-quality performance data, insights, and operational service. Reporting to the Investor Reporting Manager, this position will contribute to the development of Voleons performance reporting capabilities as we expand our product offering and deepen our client partnerships. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across Investor Relations and Business Development, and will have regular exposure to senior stakeholders and clients. This role is a means to make a difference: the analytics and service processes you lead will directly enhance Voleons leading position in the world of quantitative finance. Key Responsibilities
Produce accurate and timely reporting, including fund-level performance reports, firm-level due diligence materials, and regulatory reporting (in partnership with the Compliance team) Respond to investor requests with best-in-class service, providing data, operational updates, and ad hoc support for marketing and due diligence needs Coordinate with third-party service providers, such as fund administrators, to ensure data integrity and process efficiency Collaborate with Voleons software engineering team to enhance automation and enhance the firms enterprise performance data infrastructure and tools Qualifications
2+ years of experience in investor reporting, client service, or performance analytics at a hedge fund, asset manager, or similar financial institution Demonstrated ability to produce accurate and client-ready investor reporting and performance analysis Strong comfort with large data sets, reporting systems, and tools used in financial operations Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience collaborating across internal teams and with external providers Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required Eagerness to work with diverse teams Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or related applied experience Ability to travel regularly to our Berkeley office if working remotely
