What is the job?
ROLE AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for the development and management of the talent acquisition life cycle for Acumen and DCI. The Corporate Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.
Identify, source and engage candidates through creative and innovative sourcing avenues
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify each open position’s sourcing requirements and develop strategies to identify the right talent
Manage and maintain all requisitions and job postings on various job boards and platforms
Review applicant resumes, pre-screen and/or interview candidates to determine qualifications of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements
Oversees preparation of interview questions and recruiting guides or processes
Proactively communicate with managers during the recruitment process to provide status updates to all stakeholders through meetings, email/IM updates, and/or reports
Maintain ATS and trackers with real-time updates for candidate sourcing, tracking and documentation throughout the recruiting process
Create and implement recruiting strategies to attract passive candidates
Provide market research to support candidate and geographical cost of labor profiling to guide recruiting in various locations
Collaborate with hiring managers and the HR team during the offer process to extend formal written offers to selected candidates
Promote a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
Assist in the onboarding process
Assist in the creation and management of job descriptions for assigned requisitions
Act as point of contact for vendor relationships, job board companies, temp staffing agencies, etc.
Other duties as assigned
ALL Acumen employees will be vigilant to support the positive compliant cybersecurity company posture by familiarizing themselves with all policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines and act.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1 year recruiting experience or Bachelor’s Degree relating to HR
Ability to quickly build strong and productive relationships
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrative strong work ethic, integrity, and personal accountability
Ability to handle confidential information discreetly
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, continually evolving environment using proven time management skills and working with a strong sense of urgency
Proven strong verbal and written communication
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous in office corporate experience
Experience in full lifecycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, and candidate relationship management
Strong commitment to continuous improvement
Ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships
Ability to continually seek new sourcing options and develop creative approaches to sourcing and delivering candidates
Paycom ATS experience with sourcing, tracking and managing candidates
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent communication and relationship skills with all stakeholders, including clients, state entities, and colleagues
Ability to effectively and respectfully interact with client base that has varying levels of ability, educational backgrounds, authority, and ethnicities
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to speak in public, including trainings and job fairs
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse internal and external customers to accomplish a task or reach an understanding diplomatically and respectfully

Ensures effectiveness in processes to achieve/seek best practice

Telephone and headset, computer, multiple screens, copier, scanning system, printer, postage machine, calculator, and fax machines
May use other office equipment as needed

The employee is required to operate and maintain a variety of office equipment including a computer, copy machines, scanning and reading equipment and a calculator requiring repetitive motion of the fingers, hands, arms, and eyes
The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and talk for an hour or more
Vision ability is required to do the job, including close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus
Ability to work under stressful conditions that may require handling multiple work assignments with specific deadlines
Ground and or Air travel

What is the job?
