Fire Sprinkler Designer - Youngstown, OH - JOB 26-00110
Pay Range: $18.00 - $28.00/HR • Permanent Position with Benefits
Engineering design company in Youngstown, Ohio specializing in fire protection systems design, fabrication & installation is seeking to hire a talented 3D CAD Designer for Fire Suppression / Sprinkler Systems Design.
Responsibilities
Assist with 3D CAD design for fire suppression / sprinkler systems.
Perform layout of automatic sprinkler systems, plumbing, pipe supports and related tasks for fire protection system design.
Interact with clients in the field to assess facilities, take notes, and return to design layout work.
After initial training, work independently, make sound decisions and manage time effectively.
Qualifications
Associates Degree or Technical College Certificate is desired.
Level I, II or III NICET certification is a plus.
3+ years of experience preferred; willing to consider entry level.
Industry experience or a closely related field doing layout of automatic sprinkler systems, plumbing, pipe supports and related tasks for fire protection system design.
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) & general PC skills; willingness to learn 3D/3-D MEP software.
3D CAD design skills with piping / plumbing layout for fire suppression systems.
All levels of designers encouraged to apply; excellent opportunity for growth.
Candidates must have a good driving record; travel is local.
