Fire Sprinkler Designer
to join our
Fire Protection Services Team
in
Birmingham, AL
and play a key role in producing high-quality fire protection design solutions. Step into a role where your expertise drives project success across diverse and innovative fire protection initiatives.
What You'll Do
Develop, produce, and revise fire protection drawings and contract documents with minimal oversight
Apply working knowledge of NFPA codes, industry standards, materials, and fire protection design methods
Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and discipline-specific design tools to support medium to large-scale projects
Collaborate closely with design teams, sales, and project managers to meet client and technical requirements
Assist with drafting, documentation, and preparing materials for project meetings
Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, working independently or within a team environment
What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
Minimum of 4 years of fire sprinkler design experience required
Proficiency with discipline-based software (AutoCAD, Revit, HydraCAD) and Microsoft Office
Effective communication skills with the ability to adapt style across diverse audiences
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and assist senior staff as needed
Valid driver's license required
NICET Level I certification preferred

Salary Range $40.00 - $42.00
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
