International Business Strategies (IBS), a leading high-technology consultancy firm based in Los Gatos, California, is seeking a full-time professional with knowledge of the semiconductor industry. IBS has been in business for over 30 years with customers in the U.S., Europe, Japan, South Korea, China, and other locations, with increasing emphasis on AI.
Key responsibility will be to assist with generating monthly reports focused on AI and the semiconductor industry.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth research on critical topics in the semiconductor industry, with a focus on AI and key trends in edge as well as AGI.
Utilize ChatGPT, Claude AI, and DeepSeek to supplement research.
Prepare and analyze numerical data using Microsoft Excel (expertise in Excel is important), i.e., calculate key semiconductor trends in global markets through 2030 and beyond.
Prepare reports using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (minimum 40 wpm typing speed).
Maintain the utmost level of security and confidentiality.
Requirements
Background in the semiconductor business is essential (minimum three years of experience). Knowledge of the semiconductor technology is important.
Highly detail-oriented (accuracy is critical).
Will require working in the Los Gatos office eight hours a day, Monday through Friday.
Ability to work in a team environment.
