About the Role
The Content Writer is responsible for developing clear, compelling written content that supports M+'s brand voice and business objectives. This role produces thought leadership, marketing communications, and educational content that positions M+ as an industry leader in premium financing and private client services. Working closely with the Senior Marketing Operations and Event Manager and Content Designer, the Content Writer crafts messaging that resonates with financial advisors and high-net-worth clients while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Responsibilities
Thought Leadership and Long-Form Content Write articles, white papers, and case studies that demonstrate M+'s expertise Develop talking points and scripts for executive speaking engagements and video content Create educational content for M+U programming, including session summaries and supplementary materials Research industry trends and translate complex financial concepts into accessible content Marketing Communications Write email campaigns, newsletters, and advisor communications Develop social media copy for LinkedIn and other platforms Create website copy, landing pages, and blog posts Draft press releases and company announcements as needed Sales and Advisor Support Write copy for presentations, pitch decks, and sales collateral Develop client-facing materials that communicate value propositions clearly Create templates and frameworks that advisors can customize for their practices Support internal communications and company announcements Brand Voice and Compliance Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all written content Ensure all content complies with MMLIS field compliance standards Partner with the Content Designer to ensure written and visual content align Edit and proofread materials produced across the organization Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or marketing communications Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across long-form and short-form content Excellent command of grammar, style, and tone with strong editing skills Ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging content Experience writing for B2B audiences and professional services Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field Preferred Skills
Experience in financial services, insurance, or wealth management Familiarity with compliance requirements in regulated industries Experience with SEO writing and content optimization Knowledge of LinkedIn content strategy and thought leadership development On-time delivery of content projects meeting quality standards. Consistent brand voice across all written materials. Stakeholder satisfaction with written deliverables. Compliance adherence across all published content.
