project lifecycle. Here, you won’t be limited to a desk. You’ll be involved from initial site visit to final inspection—giving you the rare chance to see your work come to life in the field. You’ll design everything from custom homes to specialty steel components, collaborate closely with licensed Professional Engineers, and take on responsibilities that truly strengthen your technical foundation. What You’ll Do
Conduct field visits, walkthroughs, and existing-conditions assessments Perform structural analysis and design for: Custom single-family homes Renovations, additions, and repairs New construction Specialty engineering for steel fabricators
Produce clear, accurate structural drawings and documentation using AutoCAD Complete construction-phase inspections to verify compliance with design intent Coordinate directly with clients, contractors, architects, and internal team members to keep projects on track What You Bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (structural emphasis preferred) 1–4 years of structural engineering experience Strong understanding of structural materials and systems, including: steel, cold-formed steel, engineered wood, masonry, aluminum, concrete foundations, and retaining walls Experience performing structural analysis and conducting pre- and post-construction site visits Proficiency with AutoCAD Excellent written and verbal communication skills Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Brookfield, CT. Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00/yr. Company Benefits eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
