Insight Global is hiring a Telecom Sales Engineer for a regionally based telecom carrier client. This is a full time role based in Lafayette, LA.

Qualifications
Five or more years of experience as an Engineer in telecommunications industry selling strategic products
History of designing LAN and WAN technologies, Managed Router, Firewall, Security, SD WAN, SASE and other cloud-based solutions with the ability to identify opportunities and design custom solutions for our clientele
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
Expert in telecommunications, networking technologies and Fortinet product suite
Familiar with Salesforce; Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent presentation & whiteboarding skills
Availability to travel to and from assigned territories and company facilities
Valid driver's license
Excellent communication skills
