Job Duties: Telephones Tasking Triage Pre-certifications Medication Refills Assistance with scheduling on occasion Rooming patients Obtaining and documenting patient vitals and histories. Preparing patients for exams. Assisting physician (provider) with exams and minor procedures Injections Stocking, monitoring and cleaning exam rooms/work area and patient waiting areas. Performs phlebotomy procedures with high focus on attention to detail; properly identifying the patient prior to obtaining the specimen and accurate labeling of the specimen As expected with all healthcare positions, must adhere to HIPAA/OSHA/BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN regulations and maintain associated workplace trainings. Various other duties as assigned/needed. Skills
