Deal Finance (M&A) practice, where we work on the most complex and high-profile global transactions for Fortune 500 CFOs across diverse industry sectors. Our seasoned team of buy side and sell side transaction advisors bring deep sector expertise and functional knowledge to our clients. We develop deal strategies, prepare and execute separation and integration plans, identify ideas and sources of value enhancement, as well as advise on risk mitigation and the successful change of operations, functions and people. Key client questions that we help answer: How does the Finance function support the overall organization's strategic priorities during and immediately after a transaction? What are the primary sources of deal value, and how do you capture more synergies faster? How does a transaction set the stage for a new finance operating model and create a platform for future growth? As a Senior Associate - Consultant with EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution

Deal Finance practice, you will be a key team member supporting and executing buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, focusing on the CFO agenda and the Finance function. You'll assist with the execution of projects across sectors, collaborating with client service teams to develop and execute transaction strategies. Part of your role will also involve developing experience across different types of engagements, ranging from pre-deal operational planning to post-deal integration or separation planning, execution, and tracking, and having a strong commercial mind-set. Skills And Attributes For Success

To qualify for the role, you must have: A bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics and 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 18 months of related work experience. Prior experience in consulting, Corporate Finance, or M&A advisory. Practical knowledge of and experience in the Finance function. Management consulting experience. Experience in one or more of Finance areas (e.g., accounting, financial reporting, planning and budgeting, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, etc.). Knowledge of or experience with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Cognos and/or other common systems. Experience in financial process benchmarking, operating model, finance organization design, synergies, transition service agreements (TSA). Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis with strong presentation skills. Ability to prioritize effectively on projects and adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts. Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally. Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights. Knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot. You must either reside in or be in a commutable distance to your office location for this position. The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. Ideally you may also have: MBA is preferred. Previous experience in a mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions role or another large professional services organization. Additional 6 to 12 months of industry experience. What We Look For

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $130,000 to $185,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
