
K-12 Sales Specialist

Position Summary The Boelter Companies is seeking an experienced K-12 Sales Consultant responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining long-term relationships with customers and delivering customized solutions that meet their needs and goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain existing K-12 customer relationships within a specific region. Target new K-12 customer relationships for Equipment and Supply opportunities. Pursue leads and follow through to secure business. Collaborate with K-12 Segment team to drive growth. Conduct market research and identify industry trends to introduce to perspective customers. Evaluate customer needs and respond with best alternatives. Use CRM to maintain customer calls and build a pipeline. Effectively forecast upcoming business. Have a strong understanding of Boelter's position in the marketplace and how to sell against competition. Attend K-12 tradeshows and industry conferences to grow relationships and drive sales. Possess excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally Excellent oral and written communication skills Must be a self-starter with good time management skills Basic understanding of products and learning how to sell through on the job training
