LCMS Sales Specialist II

Shimadzu Scientific Instruments is hiring an LCMS Sales Specialist II to own and grow a regional Life Science sales territory, specializing in Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry instrumentation. You'll be the face of Shimadzu's innovation to customersdriving sales, providing training, conducting demos and acting as a trusted expert in complex technical environments. Job functions include, but are not limited to: Sales & Business Development: Identify and prioritize new client opportunities; manage and grow existing accounts. Customer Engagement: Provide consultative support and product guidance to customers. Collaboration & Teamwork: Coordinate with field application specialists and lab teams to deliver technical solutions. Sales Operations: Generate quotes, negotiate terms, and manage the closing process. Education and qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred) Minimum 3 years of laboratory experience with LCMS instrumentation At least 3 years of successful capital equipment sales experience Strong technical knowledge of analytical instrumentation, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly Proven experience in developing and executing sales and/or field marketing strategies to drive growth and account expansion Proficient in the use of CRM systems for pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting Must be able to travel extensively within the assigned territory Valid driver's license required At Shimadzu Scientific Instruments, we believe in providing structured career paths that recognize and reward talent.
