Tasks and responsibilities
As Sales Director Core Business, you will be part of the Steering Team of euro
filters
and you will report directly to the Managing Director. The position could have its place of work in either the office in Pelt or the offices in Gütersloh (Germany). You will be responsible for developing and implementing a 5 year plan for the core products in our portfolio (Vacuum Cleaner Bag business) aligned with the Miele Sales Plan, for building our sales strategy, achieving sales targets, analyzing the market, expanding customers for the core business and aligning with the key departments of the organization such that overall commercial growth of the vacuum cleaner bags business in the company is achieved. In addition, you will operationally be responsible for the maintenance and further development of the OEM business. You will develop and implement the 5year plan and the sales strategy for the vacuum cleaner bags business for the B2B, the B2C and the online market and align it with the business objectives You will steer the Sales Department and hold responsibility of the learning and development of the employees in the department You will monitor the sales, margin and market share targets in the vacuum cleaner bags business and align it with the business strategy and the KPI’s You analyze markets, identify new opportunities and expand the customer base, including strategic accounts. You improve sales processes and ensure collaboration with other departments for an integrated approach. You represent euro filters
in the OEM market. You develop new business opportunities with existing and potential OEM customers and take measures to achieve long-term customer loyalty You do the analysis of the customer portfolio and look for improvement of added value through portfolio adjustments in close cooperation with the specialized departments such as R&D and Operations You conduct the contract negotiations with the OEM customers, together with legal services and prepare offers for customer quotes. You look after continuous and independent customer support of all relevant customer inquiries in close cooperation with the specialized departments. You represent the sales business in the steering team. You stay in close contact with the Manager New business. You are able to make the right reportings to keep your superiors and the steering team up to date about the KPI’s of the Sales team. Profile
You are holder of a Master degree in economics and have minimum 10 years of experience of sales in the B2B, B2C and online markets in filtration businesses. You have a throughout experience in working with top management and in leading projects and change processes. You are a strong leader and can function in a multidisciplinary directors team. You have excellent social, communication and interpersonal skills You possess a combination of strategic insight and agility, have a helicopter view and are able to make the right prioritizations You have a strong drive to handle sales results and have knowledge of economic key figures You have excellent communication and organizational skills focused on cross-functional efficiency You have strong analytical skills and a high degree of economic thinking and action You are able to lead and motivate interdisciplinary teams You are a team player who can consult and work well with colleagues and stakeholders and can encourage colleagues to meet deadlines in your projects and keep appointments. You can express yourself fluently (oral and written) in English and German and preferably also in Dutch.
