The Director of IT is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the organization's IT infrastructure, processes, and team members to ensure alignment with business objectives. This position involves collaborating with senior executives to develop and implement technology strategies, managing departmental resources efficiently, and providing support to IT staff. Given the sensitive nature of the role, the director must handle confidential information, such as patient health information (PHI), with the utmost integrity, demonstrating strong ethical standards and a commitment to security and privacy. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in IT management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of healthcare data security. Eligible for medical coverage on your first day of employment, all other benefits will be effective the 1st of the month following hire date! Requirements: 40 hours per week - First Shift Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required. Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5–7 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in healthcare information technology. Demonstrated experience leading enterprise IT operations in a hospital or health system in a hospital or health system environment. Experience with Epic EMR implementation, optimization, upgrades, or ongoing operational support required. Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills. In-depth understanding of healthcare information systems, clinical workflows, and EMR platforms. Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Excellent communication, financial management, and relationship-building skills. High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
