HR Recruiter / HR Coordinator - Residential Construction : We are seeking a proactive
HR Recruiter or HR Generalist/Coordinator
with
residential construction experience
to support talent acquisition and core HR functions. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, resourceful, and comfortable going after talent—not waiting for applications to come in. Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle recruiting for residential construction roles (field & office) Conduct cold calling, headhunting, and targeted outreach to identify top talent Utilize recruiting tools, databases, and networking strategies to find and engage candidates Partner with leadership to understand hiring needs and proactively build pipelines Screen, interview, and coordinate offers and hiring decisions Support onboarding, new hire orientation, and hiring-related processes Assist with HR coordination including employee records, compliance, and HR documentation Serve as a point of contact for candidates and new hires throughout the hiring process Required Experience & Skills
Prior residential construction industry experience is required Proven experience in recruiting, sourcing, and cold calling/headhunting Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of searches Strong communication, follow-up, and relationship-building skills Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment Nice-to-Have / Unicorn Profile
Experience handling both recruiting and general HR functions Familiarity with onboarding, employee relations support, and HR coordination Experience supporting field-heavy construction organizations Additional Details
