Associate, Asset & Property Management (Commercial & Life Science)

SVP of Asset Management Position Overview
The Associate of Asset & Property Management supports the financial performance and daily operations of a mixed-use portfolio of commercial office and life science properties. This entry-level role provides exposure to asset management, building operations, tenant coordination, and compliance within a regulated real estate environment. Key Responsibilities
Asset Management Support
Assist with budgets, forecasts, and financial performance tracking Support business plans, reporting, and analysis for commercial and life science assets Track leasing activity, capital projects, and key performance metrics Property Operations Support
Support daily building operations and work management activities Assist with vendor coordination, contracts, onboarding, and invoice review Help track compliance with leases, permits, life safety, and laboratory regulations Assist with monitoring building systems supporting life science use (HVAC, electrical, water, exhaust, backup power) Support tenant onboarding, communication, move-ins, and issue resolution Systems & Administration
Enter and track work orders in the CMMS and coordinate with engineering teams Maintain vendor, contract, utility, and document records Assist with procurement, utility account administration, and governmental notices Support standardized procedures and document management in SharePoint Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field 2-5 years of relevant experience or internships Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive-level materials Proficiency in Excel and real estate management systems (Yardi, MRI, or similar) Preferred Experience
Financial analysis experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Experience managing or coordinating third-party property management and technical service providers Exposure to life science or laboratory facilities, including regulated tenant environments Familiarity with EHS requirements, commissioning, and infrastructure planning for lab spaces Experience supporting capital projects, tenant improvements, or repositioning initiatives Understanding of institutional ownership, governance, and reporting standards Comfortable utilizing AI and automation tools to enhance productivity Role Impact
This role supports both asset performance and day-to-day operations while building a strong foundation in commercial and life science real estate. What We Offer
Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000 Discretionary, performance-based bonus program PTO and paid holidays 401(k) with company match Excellent benefits paid 100% by the company (Medical, Dental, Vision)
