A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a
Vulnerability Management Specialist .
Position type:

Duration:
12 to 18 months
Location:
Onsite in Jacksonville, Florida (5 days per week)
Responsibilities As a
Vulnerability Management Specialist , you will:
Analyze findings from vulnerability reporting workstreams to identify thematic scan-related issues
Suggest business cases for automation teams to detect vulnerabilities via alternate methods
Engage in Cyber and Technology Incident Response
Escalate scanning issues and gaps, and follow up with solution vendors until resolution
Review current vulnerability detection processes to streamline and improve efficiency
Represent the vulnerability identification program during on-call and Analyst-In-Charge windows
Analyze and recommend Acceptable Use requests
Identify and present opportunities for program improvement to VI Leadership
Top / Required Skills
5+ years hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning using Qualys, Tenable, or Tanium
3+ years in Cyber Incident investigation and response
Experience with CVE-based vulnerability identification and risk analysis
Hands-on experience in System Administration (Windows, Linux)
Strong analytical, problem solving, and prioritization skills
Experience with security technologies and understanding of server/workstation OS and network security
Excellent written and verbal communication
Desired Skills
Bachelors and/or Masters in computer science, IT, or related field
Experience with one or more DBMS (e.g., SQL, Mongo)
Industry certifications such as CISSP or CISM
Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework
Working knowledge of network architecture and engineering concepts
Details Analyzes, improves, implements, and executes vulnerability scanning technologies and processes to prevent external threats. Typically has 7–10 years of relevant experience. This role is part of the Global Information Security Vulnerability Identification team and focuses on day-to-day management of vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Qualys). Cyber Incident investigation and response is a key responsibility.
Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years in Information Security or related technology fields
Experience with leading vulnerability identification scanning solutions (e.g., Qualys, Tenable, Tanium)
Strong CVE vulnerability analytics experience
Hands-on system administration experience (Windows/Linux)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
Pay, Benefits & About Innova Pay Range:
$72 – $77 per hour. Pay offers are based on education, experience, location, duties, and certifications.
