We are currently seeking a self-motivated, energetic individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess two years of mortgage loan processing experience in a credit union or similar financial institution and be eager to make an impact with a strong, professional work ethic.

The actual base pay offered will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill, relevant experience, and work location.
Pay Range: $20.50 - $30.75 per hour

Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs a variety of duties pertaining to processing mortgage loan products in accordance with PNCU policies and procedures and all applicable governmental regulations.
Possesses strong knowledge related to all aspects of residential lending
Reviews all incoming mortgage and home equity/HELOC applications and determines what documents will be required for efficient processing of the application
Accurately prepares and sends all required disclosures in compliance with TRID and other applicable regulatory guidelines.
Processes Change of Circumstances and sends revised disclosures when necessary.
Ensures the proper and requested documents have been provided before the file is sent to Underwriting
Communicates and directly assists borrowers throughout the mortgage process.
Responds to borrower questions and concerns and resolves any issues related to loan documents and e-signing.
Able to independently perform accurate income assessment and calculations.
Performs a preliminary underwriting assessment of each loan file to ensure the loan is viable.
Obtains, monitors and processes incoming documentation, such as credit reports, appraisal reports, flood determinations, tax transcripts, verifications of employment, etc.
Orders appraisals and title orders.
Communicates file progress with updates as needed to the loan officer, underwriter and closer.
Manages their daily pipeline duties with little to no supervision and ensures all contract dates are met.
Ensure compliance with company policies, underwriting guidelines, and lending program requirements.
Calculates APR’s for rate changes.

Responsible for completion of all required compliance training, as well as completion of ongoing compliance training which may be assigned throughout the year.
Adhere to all credit union attendance policies and standards.
Abide by all federal, state, and local laws including but not limited to: The Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC and FinCEN; UCC; Federal Reserve Bank; and NCUA.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Two to five years of mortgage loan processing or related experience.
NMLS/SAFE ACT compliant.
Knowledge of lending compliance regulations (Reg. Z, RESPA, Truth in Lending, Reg. B, HMDA)
Self-starter, self-reliant, dependable, ability to work within and meet specific time constraints.
Team player with positive attitude and willing and able to work well with others.
Able to successfully prioritize multiple tasks.
Experience with the Encompass loan origination system preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
