Development & External Engagement Lead, Europe. Remote locations: Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom. Organization: Teach for All. Position Summary To advance Teach For All’s 25-year vision, we are seeking a Development & External Engagement Lead, Europe. Reporting to the Head of Region and working closely with the Director of Development and External Relations based in London, as well as with Teach For All’s Global Development Team, the Lead will help to build a sustainable funding pipeline, deepen external engagement, and amplify Teach For All’s visibility and reach in the European philanthropic ecosystem. The role combines strategic and operational responsibilities. The candidate will nurture and expand a community of philanthropists, family foundations, and corporate donors who share our mission to address educational inequities in Europe and globally. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with philanthropic trends across European markets, strong external communication skills, excellent operational and coordination skills, and proven relationship management abilities with internal and external stakeholders. About the Team This role sits within the Europe Regional Team, an engaged group of professionals committed to supporting Teach For All’s network partner organizations in the region. The team values shared learning, curiosity, equity, and long-term impact. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Head of Region, the Director of Development and External Relations, the Global Development Team, Government and Multilaterals Team, Coaching and Consulting and the Initiatives Team, as well as Public Affairs and senior leaders of network partner organizations. Responsibilities

Identifying and Cultivating Potential Donors to Teach For All and network partners (50%) Collaborate with the Head of Region, the Director for Development in Europe and the Global Development Team to formulate and execute a strategy for building and nurturing a pipeline of Europe-based donors and new prospects. Leverage regional gatherings, events and local connections, and work with network partners’ CEOs and Heads of Development to identify new prospects for the region. Establish initial contact and cultivation of new prospects across Continental Europe in collaboration with the Global Development Team. Support the Head of Region in implementing the regional development strategy, prioritizing external engagements with a focus on high-impact fundraising and positioning opportunities. Draft and tailor concept notes, region-specific proposals and presentations for conversations with European prospects; align with global and regional programmatic priorities. Develop and implement a strategy to leverage internal and external events to position Teach For All and network partners with regional stakeholders, donors, and policymakers. Lead in setting agendas and managing upward communication to ensure clarity on outcomes and alignment with regional and global goals. Regional Fundraising Systems and Operations (25%) Ensure strong systems and data practices to support fundraising in the region, with effective use of Salesforce and other tools for tracking, reporting, and planning. Collaborate with the Global Development Team and Europe Chief of Staff to improve workflows, communication, and accountability across the regional giving pipeline. Support the Director of Development and External Relations for Europe in managing UK and Europe boards, including calendaring and in-person meeting logistics. Work with Finance to ensure compliance for UK and Europe entities, including documentation from Trustees/Board members and minutes tracking. Network Partner and Prospective Partners Support (25%) Work with Teach For All network partners in Europe to understand funding contexts and identify tailored support and joint funding opportunities. Collaborate with the CLC, Learning Experiences teams, Global Multilateral team, and Initiatives team to provide training, resources, and best practices to elevate fundraising capabilities. Contribute to the Europe Development Community by providing donor insights and philanthropic trends. Support Global Development and CLC teams in responding to proposals, applications, pitches, and meeting prep documents from partners. Foster strong communication and collaboration between Teach For All and network partners around fundraising in the region. Help network partners identify and engage prospective donors, particularly foundations, corporations, and high-net-worth individuals aligned with Teach For All’s mission in the region. Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience. Fundraising experience is preferred; related fields (e.g., communications, public affairs, strategic marketing, sales) are valued. Excellent relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders in corporate and private philanthropy. Results-driven, detail-oriented, highly organized with a collaborative, team-based approach. Excellent written and verbal communication in English and ideally one other European language. Excellent presentation skills, including deck/PowerPoint design and ability to craft pitches. Strong cross-cultural collaboration and influencing abilities in the absence of direct reporting lines. Additional desirable skills/experiences (not required): Ability to position Teach For All as a prominent voice among major donors; familiarity with media or policy landscape in Europe is a plus. Ability to manage, update and leverage Salesforce as a development platform. Ability to collaborate on training resources and best practices to enhance network partners’ fundraising capabilities. Proficiency in crafting proposals and support requests with Global Development and Communications teams. Some travel within Europe will be required. What Teach For All Offers
