
I am recruiting on behalf of a growing property management company seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of residential rentals, condominiums, housing programs, and facilities across Connecticut. This is a hands-on role for a professional who is comfortable managing operations, compliance, maintenance, and stakeholder relationships. There is growth opportunities in this role, having a direct path to Operations Manager.
The Opportunity
The Property Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple property types, ensuring smooth operations, regulatory compliance, and strong tenant and client relationships. This role requires someone who is organized, proactive, and able to balance operational, administrative, and customer-facing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of rental properties and condominium communities
Serve as the primary liaison between tenants, owners, board members, vendors, and housing authorities
Coordinate leasing activities, tenant move-ins and move-outs, and routine inspections
Manage maintenance, repairs, preventative upkeep, and emergency response
Oversee facilities management, including bank-foreclosed and special-use properties
Collect rent, fees, and assessments; assist with budgeting and financial reporting
Review invoices, approve vendor payments, and monitor operating expenses
Support condominium boards with meetings, documentation, and governance needs
Manage housing programs, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation
Candidate Profile
Prior experience in property management, facilities management, or housing programs
Strong understanding of residential property operations and maintenance coordination
Experience working with tenants, vendors, and property owners or boards
Familiarity with housing regulations and compliance requirements is preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple properties and priorities simultaneously
Proficiency with property management software and standard office tools
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
