Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Westborough, MA for an Account Assistant. The Account Assistant will be responsible for assisting with various financial tasks, customer service, claims support and coordination. The role also includes providing clear communication and collaboration with team members to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable

Issue invoices, follow up on outstanding balances, and manage aging reports

Work with insurance companies & adjusters (Bill.com experience a plus)

Track status of claims and payments tied to projects

Customer Service

Serve as a primary point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and customer questions

Maintain professional, friendly, solution-oriented communication throughout the move lifecycle

Scheduling & Coordination

Assist in scheduling residential and commercial moves

Confirmation calls with clients

Update internal calendars and job status

Damage Claims Management

Handle incoming damage/claim submissions

Collect documentation, communicate with customers, and coordinate resolution

Work with insurance carriers or internal operations to determine coverage and next steps

Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in the

moving & storage industry

strongly preferred

AR / billing / collections experience (insurance-related AR is a plus)

Strong communication & customer service skills

Highly organized with a strong attention to detail

Comfortable managing multiple tasks at once

Tech-savvy (Google Workspace, CRM tools, Bill.com familiarity is helpful)

Able to work collaboratively with operations & field teams
