Job Summary You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely compliance with North America sales and use tax regulations. This role supports financial integrity by managing exemption certificates, supporting audits, reconciling tax accounts, and partnering with internal teams to reduce risk and improve compliance processes.
Responsibilities
Ensure timely and accurate filing, payment, and reconciliation of North America sales and use tax returns
Manage exemption certificate processes, including collection, validation, storage, and ongoing maintenance
Support sales and use tax audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and coordinating with internal partners
Reconcile sales and use tax accounts and investigate variances to ensure accurate financial reporting
Partner with cross-functional teams to address compliance issues and improve tax-related processes
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and use tax, indirect tax, or a related accounting role
Knowledge of North America sales and use tax regulations and compliance requirements
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
