
Overview
The Pre-Sales Architect is responsible for leading technical and solution discovery during the sales process, shaping JazzX AGI solutions to customer needs, and de-risking complex enterprise deals in the mortgage industry. This role partners closely with Sales Directors, Industry Process Specialists, and Forward Deployment Engineers to design compelling, feasible, and value-driven solutions that accelerate deal closure. The person will be measured on three metrics: Deal Support Effectiveness & Win Rate (60%), Solution Quality & Feasibility (20%), Pre-Sales Asset & Enablement Contribution (20%). Responsibilities
Lead technical discovery and solution design during pre-sales engagements. Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities and shape winning deal strategies. Design end-to-end solution architecture with various integration points with JazzX. Collaborate with Industry Process Specialists on process and functional design. Validate technical feasibility with Forward Deployment Engineers. Support demos (of JazzX platform and Builder Studio), POVs, and RFP/RFI responses. Address questions related to security, privacy, compliance, accuracy etc. Articulate AI-led transformation and value to technical and executive stakeholders. Identify deployment risks and mitigation strategies early in the sales cycle. Create reusable pre-sales solution assets and reference architectures. Required Attributes & Competencies
Strong background in enterprise solution architecture or pre-sales engineering. Ability to design scalable, secure AI-enabled architectures. Comfort across cloud, data, integrations, and AI platforms. Strong presentation and storytelling skills. Ability to engage credibly with CIOs, CTOs, and business leaders. Experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder deals. Qualifications
12-15+ years in pre-sales solution architecture and technical consulting roles. Experience selling or architecting enterprise AI, SaaS, or data platforms. Mortgage industry experience strongly preferred. Strong collaboration and communication skills.
