This is a full-time hybrid role for a Fire Sprinkler Designer based in the Charlotte Metro area with flexibility for remote work while we finish moving into our new office. The Fire Sprinkler Designer will be responsible for developing detailed sprinkler system designs, performing hydraulic calculations, creating material lists, and preparing drawings using CAD software. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams, coordinating with clients, and ensuring compliance with local and national fire protection codes and standards. Qualifications
Technical proficiency with CAD software and fire sprinkler design tools Knowledge of hydraulic calculations, fire codes, and safety standards Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Effective communication skills for client and team collaboration A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in fire sprinkler design or related field NICET certification in Fire Protection Design is preferred Aptitude for problem-solving and ability to work independently on hybrid schedules
