This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Denver, CO office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.
Responsibilities
Outbound prospecting to Target Account lists to create demand and generate consistent pipeline
Working closely with your Partner network to generate referrals, co-sell on opportunities, and expand Fivetran’s use across the partner portfolio
Executing every sales cycle with precision
Conducting detailed discovery, lead product demonstrations, coordinating executive alignment, and driving positive business outcomes for customers to drive long-term value
Becoming an expert in Fivetran’s technology, market, and value proposition
Executing campaigns to drive customer adoption and expand usage within customer accounts (in the first 6 months as a customer)
Forecasting opportunities weekly using MEDDPICC and Command of the Message methodology
Working closely with team, peers, and cross-functional stakeholders to provide feedback and new ideas
Embracing a fast-moving environment with large amounts of change
Qualifications
3 - 4 years of experience in a closing sales role
Experience in Business Development — crucial for success as an AE at Fivetran
Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to hold multiple stakeholders accountable throughout a sales cycle
A customer-centric approach and passion for how customers gain value and insight from data
Ability to convey technical principles in a consultative and conversational way
Willingness and ability to travel as necessary
Bonus Skills
Familiarity with the modern data technology industry and key players
Compensation and Benefits This position qualifies for Fivetran’s incentive plan, and it’s common for employees in this role to achieve the total on-target earnings.
The compensation range for Denver is
$72,513—$87,019 USD
with
OTE $145,026—$174,038 USD . Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual compensation is based on factors including job-related skills, experience, education, and market demands. Ranges may change over time.
